Adolf was born on May 14, 1966 to his parents Peter K. and Justina W. Sawatzky in Colony Menno Chaco Paraguay, South America. He was the third of ten children and grew up on a farm in Friedersfeld. Adolf was baptized in April of 1986 and married his partner Alwine Peters on January 8th 1986. They then moved to Manitoba Canada in August that same year. They had three beautiful kids together; Andor Adriano, Lenny Leandro, Sonia Vanessa and moved to B.C as a family. Adolf and Alwine separated after 19 years of marriage but both stayed in Abbotsford. Adolf lived with his girlfriend Kerri Ann Lozon. On October 7, 2023 Adolf was admitted to Abbotsford Hospital where he later passed away on October 21, 2023 at 3:01 am of cancer. He will be dearly missed by his beloved children Andor and Katrina, Sonia and Zephan Toews, Lenny, his beautiful wife and very beloved grandchildren. Alexis and Keira Sawatzky and Braidy and Kaylee Toews, his girlfriend Kerri Ann Lozon, his mother Justina Wiebe de Sawatzky, his 4 brothers Anton, Hans, Will, and Andreas and sisters Eva, Maria, Elwiera, Susi and Seima. As well as by his great family, nephews and friends.
We would also like to thank anyone who was there for Adolf and prayed for him over the years and especially in the past weeks. It did not go unnoticed. We also ask for prayers as we grieve his loss.
