Michael Mike H. Garland

Michael H. Garland, 50, of Hudson, Fl. passed away on Tuesday, Jan 4, 2011. He was born in Cincinnati, OH and arrived in the area in 1981 coming from Cincinnati. He was a carpenter and of the Pentecostal faith. Michael enjoyed motorcycles, camping, gardening, and fishing. He was preceded in death by his father; Jessie Garland, Sr.; and 3 brothers, Jessie, Jr., Dennis and Richard. Survivors include: His better half Barbara Preeper; mother Orpha “Marie” Garland; brother Jackie “Jay” Garland; 2 sisters, Deborah “Debbie” Shannon and Teresa Garland; Barbara’s parents James and Ilene Preeper; and several nieces and nephews. A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM, with funeral services, burial, and a celebration of life gathering to follow at Grace Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, Hudson, Fl.
