A contemporary new Pearland funeral home

At the corner of Shadow Creek Parkway and Kingsley Drive, Forest Park South is a single-story, stucco building with a relaxing feel reminiscent of the Texas Gulf Coast. With neutral tones, an abundance of natural light and room to host intimate and larger gatherings inside and outdoors, it's the perfect place to celebrate life.

When you walk through our doors, you'll find yourself in an open lobby with a double-sided fireplace and comfortable seating. As you continue to the left, past the coffee bar, you'll see several other areas, including a large chapel and private arrangement rooms where your family can meet with a funeral expert.

Room for gatherings indoors and out

The beautiful chapel has floor-to-ceiling windows and accommodates up to 190 guests with stylish Chiavari chairs. A foyer directly off the chapel has a convenient exit to a porte cochère and covered porch.

In the center of the building are our visitation room and adjacent reception room. The living room-style visitation setting is a truly comfortable place for families and friends to pay their respects. The large reception room is ideal for hosting guests before or after a service. It can be easily configured for groups of different sizes and gatherings of different styles. With our catered reception services, you won’t need to find an outside caterer.

The opposite side of the reception room opens to a covered porch and courtyard. These spaces can be set up with tables and chairs and have 6-foot walls for privacy.

We've outfitted the whole building with the latest technology. Flat-screen televisions can show tribute videos and slideshows; a speaker system provides music inside and out. The building is also handicap accessible and has ample parking, including an electric car charging station.

Cremation is an increasingly common choice, but not everyone knows there are many cremation options. Though some families who choose cremation will also want a traditional funeral, those who choose simple cremation want something different—they just aren't sure what's possible. We recognize that funeral arrangements and associated expenses can be overwhelming, and by preparing these details ahead of time, you provide a sense of relief and comfort to your loved ones while ensuring your wishes are met. Service beyond expectation

For example, we offer relocation protection for your pre-funded funeral plans. When you have a prepaid plan with a Dignity Memorial provider and wish to transfer the plan to another location more than 75 miles away, every detail of your plan moves with you. All of our prepaid plans are transferable and will be honored by any of the qualifying Dignity Memorial locations in North America. That’s a promise you won’t find anywhere else. 

We also offer lifetime flexibility. If you plan a life celebration with us, but at some point in the future, and for any reason, you would like to add to your plan with new arrangements, you can. This allows you to make any changes to your plan, and we are always available to discuss your options.

Veterans and public servants programs

At Forest Park South, we also specialize in serving the veterans community. It’s important to be aware of the benefits that may be available to you—and to know that these benefits do not come automatically and must be requested in advance. As part of our service to veterans, we participate in the Dignity Memorial® Homeless Veterans Burial Program, a cooperative effort with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, local medical examiners, coroners, veterans’ advocates and veterans’ organizations. Through the Homeless Veterans Burial Program, homeless and indigent veterans who have no family to claim them are identified and provided with a proper military burial. 

We also participate in the Dignity Memorial Public Servants Program, which recognizes the courage and selflessness of career and volunteer law enforcement officers, firefighters and emergency services personnel. This program offers dignified and honorable tributes, at no cost, for those who fall in the line of duty.
