A modern funeral home

You'll be hard pressed to find a more beautiful funeral home in the area. With its mid-century architecture and contemporary furnishings, Pat H. Foley and Company is an unexpected and stylish place to celebrate a life.

Occupying an acre and a half, Chapel of the Garden was built around an open courtyard and features a beautifully landscaped oriental garden with waterfalls and a stream running through its center. A stone bridge spans the stream. In spring, pink and lavender azaleas blossom, and the Pyracantha's red berries add a touch of brilliance to the garden in winter.

Our light-filled chapel accommodates 250 people. A wall of windows overlooks the garden. The chapel's state rooms are equipped with folding doors that can be opened to accommodate larger gatherings of friends and family or closed for more intimacy. All of our state rooms open onto the main corridor, which overlooks the garden and radiates an atmosphere of complete serenity. Our facility also features parking for up to 150 vehicles.

History

Pat H. Foley was born in 1912. He attended St. Edward's University in Austin and graduated from the University of Houston in 1936. That same year, he opened Pat H. Foley and Co. funeral home, which still serves Houston today.

In the years that followed, Pat H. Foley and Co. opened Chapel of the Chimes (1946), Chapel of the Roses (1960) and Chapel of the Garden (1965). The original funeral chapel was renamed Chapel of the Angels.

Pat H. Foley is a member of the Dignity Memorial network, the largest group of licensed funeral and cemetery service providers in North America.
