The covered porte cochere and covered entrance offer easy access to our single-story funeral home. In addition, families benefit from a large on-site parking area as well as a merchandise room with casket, vault and urn displays.

Hamblen Memory Gardens & Mausoleum

Hamblen Memory Gardens & Mausoleum is the sister location of Stubblefield Funeral Home. At our Russellville, Tennessee, perpetual care cemetery and mausoleum, you will experience the natural grandeur of our 44-acre grounds. Consisting of 12 gardens, we also have an additional 12 acres of undeveloped land for future expansion.

Cemetery options

We offer traditional ground burial, 3 mausoleums, lawn crypt gardens, niches for cremated remains, bronze memorials and private estates. Hamblen Memory Gardens & Mausoleum accommodates approximately 300 burials per year.

Honoring veterans

We also gratefully support our military community and offer dedicated military funerals, a veterans cemetery garden and Masonic garden.

History

Stubblefield Funeral Home opened in 1953, the product of brothers Joseph Pryer Stubblefield and Clarence Stubblefield, and Joseph’s son, Fred. When Clarence left the business in the mid-1950s, Herbert Mayes became a partner.

Some years later, Joseph and Fred bought Herbert’s share. Joseph passed away in 1966, leaving Fred to operate the funeral home. He sold the funeral home in 1987.

Providing for you

Stubblefield Funeral Home then moved to its current location on East Andrew Johnson Highway in 1996. Since then, we have served the Morristown community with personalized funeral services.
