Plenty of burial and cremation options

How will your family’s legacy be memorialized? With a granite upright monument? A private family estate? Placement in a cremation niche? There are many ways to inter a loved one, and at Arlington Memorial Park, we offer a wide variety of burial and cremation options, including lawn gardens for burial, five community mausoleums, private family estates and private mausoleums. We are especially proud of our lush cremation garden, with a winding brick walkway and babbling fountain, and the new Legacy Chapel.

Legacy Chapel at Arlington Memorial Park

The newest mausoleum at the cemetery and a one-of-a-kind offering in the United States when it opened in August 2024, Legacy Chapel at Arlington Memorial Park gives Atlanta-area families an elegant new place for memorialization. With pristine porcelain floors, stately granite walls and wraparound porches, the nearly 60,000-square-foot mausoleum houses granite-front niches outside and glass-front niches and crypts inside. The venue is intimate enough for small gatherings and expansive enough for large groups. Three large chandeliers complement the natural lighting that floods the mausoleum during the day. Sandy Springs is a tight-knit and diverse community. We say hello to each other at the store and help our neighbors when they need us. Our team is familiar with burial customs for many religions and cultures, including Catholic, Chinese, Vietnamese and Jewish. Certain sections of the cemetery are designated to those of Catholic and Jewish faiths. We also are well-versed in providing proper and dignified burials for veterans.

Coordination with local funeral homes

We have a close relationship with H.M. Patterson and Son Arlington Chapel and Sandy Springs Chapel. Both of these funeral homes are just down the road from Arlington Memorial Park and can help you make funeral arrangements for your loved one. Of course, we are happy to coordinate with the funeral home of your choice. We want to make the transition from funeral home to cemetery as seamless and easy as possible.

We care about the Atlanta community

At Arlington Memorial Park, we are more than just a cemetery, we are a member of the Greater Atlanta community. As your neighbor, we know how important it is to give back. We regularly host services on Easter and All Souls' Day, and each year we have a special service in the infant and baby section of the cemetery. We also place flags on the graves of veterans every Memorial Day. All are invited to attend our events.

Burial services for veterans

We believe that every veteran deserves a proper military burial, no matter their financial situation. As a participant in the Dignity Memorial Homeless Veterans Burial Program, we provide free burial services to homeless and indigent veterans. The program is a cooperative effort with Dignity Memorial funeral and cemetery providers, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, local medical examiners, coroners, veterans advocates and veterans organizations.
