Our contemporary Victoria Avenue facility opened in 1995. It has a chapel that seats 200-plus and a reception centre that can be used for gatherings before or after a funeral. With a full fleet of white vehicles, we provide funeral transportation to our families.

History

Victoria Avenue Funeral Home and Cremation Centre is Regina’s second-oldest funeral service provider.

Established in early 1900s, the funeral home has gone through a succession of name changes, operating through the years as W.J. Wright Funeral Home, Regina Funeral Home, Regina Co-Operative Funeral Home, Bremner Funeral Home, Helmsing-Bremner Funeral Chapel, Helmsing-Forsberg Funeral Home and Helmsing Funeral Home.

In 2003, Helmsing Funeral Home and Unser-Rist Funeral Home united to form the present-day Victoria Avenue Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, which is a member of the Dignity Memorial® network, the largest group of licensed funeral service providers in North America.
