Bright, beautiful funeral home

Rose Hill Funeral Home is nondenominational, serving families of all cultures, backgrounds and faiths. Built in 1995, our funeral home is a 5,000-square-foot, single-level building that feels warm, welcoming and bright. From the moment you walk through our double-door entrance, you are met with an abundance of natural light and neutral colors in our spacious foyer.

Chapel and event center

Directly off the foyer to the right is our chapel. With chair seating for up to 100 guests and large windows on 3 sides, this space is used for funeral services as well as visitations. Our chapel includes a sound system and television screen for slideshow presentations of your loved one. We also have the capabilities to bring in a piano or organ should you wish to do so.

In addition to our chapel space, the funeral home features a private arrangement office in a conference-style setting as well as an event center. The event center is located off the foyer and is often used as a gathering space for friends and family members to reflect and remember before or after the service. This room is very flexible, comfortably accommodating up to 50 guests and allowing you to configure the space to best suit your needs. If you wish to host a catered reception in the event center, the room has plenty of counter space, a refrigerator and coffee area as well. We are glad to coordinate any catering details on your behalf.

From setting up a root beer stand during a visitation to displaying a motorcycle in our foyer and arranging a funeral procession for an avid car collector with antique cars leading the hearse, we have held some very touching tributes over the years.

Cremation options

Not everyone knows that there are many cremation options. If you are interested in cremation, our funeral home team can explain the process and different options. From a direct cremation without a memorial service or a witness cremation to a full funeral service before or after the cremation and more, we help you understand this increasingly common choice—and handle all of the cremation arrangements.

A cemetery for all

Established in 1929 and spanning 73 acres with room for expansion up to 120, Rose Hill Burial Park has provided a lush, well-landscaped and peaceful final resting place for Ohio families for generations. With beautiful varieties of trees providing an abundance of shade, our cemetery is very park-like with a stream running through the center of the property.

A full-service cemetery, we offer traditional in-ground burial; above-ground private mausoleums; build-to-suit estates; indoor and outdoor crypts; private bench estates; cremation gardens and more. It is our mission to provide personalized memorialization that people deserve, so we strive to provide a diverse variety of options.

Rose Mausoleum

There are 3 mausoleum buildings at Rose Hill Burial Park, the largest of which is Rose Mausoleum. This building offers a number of burial and cremation options, including indoor and outdoor crypts, private family rooms and glass-front niches. Rose Mausoleum also houses an air-conditioned chapel that is typically used for committal services and features beautiful stained glass throughout.

Our other 2 mausoleums—Building 1 and Building 2—are garden mausoleums with all outdoor options.

Other cemetery features

There are a number of other unique aspects of Rose Hill Burial Park, including our granite gazebo located in the Cremation Garden, with the calming stream situated behind it.

Our cemetery also includes 2 veterans’ sections, both of which fly flags from all 5 military branches. One of these sections also includes a fire pit where Rose Hill Funeral Home holds an annual flag decommission service around Labor Day to retire American flags.
