Our funeral chapel and a space for unveiling

Chapel at Star of David Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Funeral ChapelStar of David Funeral Chapel is a traditional funeral home with modern amenities. The funeral chapel seats up to 100 guests. A wood paneled ceiling and 8 stained-glass windows at the front of the room create a warm and welcoming space. Modern audio/visual equipment in the chapel allows for a personal music playlist or a multimedia tribute—which we are happy to create for you.

The funeral home also has a private space for unveiling ceremonies. Located on the 2nd floor, away from the rest of the funeral home's common areas, this room provides a secluded respite for families to gather and remember their loved ones.

Burial and interment options

A walk down one of our winding paths showcases a range of burial options: traditional in-ground interment, mausoleum entombment, lawn crypts, columbaria, cremation niches and benches, and private and semiprivate estates.

We also provide a range of gardens, so you can choose what's best for you and your family. Throughout the cemetery, there is a plethora of distinct gardens—some are dedicated to Orthodox Jews while others are for couples in interfaith marriages. Whatever your specific situation and desires, our goal is to provide a choice that properly suits your traditions.

Jewish funeral and burial traditions

Mausoleum at Star of David Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Funeral ChapelAt Star of David Funeral Chapel, our funeral home team is experienced at conducting Jewish funerals in a manner that reflects the Jewish traditions and honors the loved one. From the time you originally contact us, we can compassionately explain the process and walk you through the various customs.

From the very beginning of our role, we'll invite you to see our space for shomers and coordinate with those who will help watch over your loved one before the memorial service. Our team will conduct the taharah customary washing and support your family during this emotional time. We can provide the ribbons to tear at the funeral or even coordinate transportation to a cemetery in Israel if you so choose.

Our team has conducted ceremonies for people of all groups—Orthodox, Conservative, Reform and Secular. How you wish to include Jewish funeral and burial customs is up to you.
