Known as “The City of Progress,” Hialeah is a diverse and vibrant area. It is home to thousands of Cuban families and is one the larger Spanish-speaking communities in the nation. At Caballero Rivero Woodlawn West, we welcome diversity and serve families of all religions, backgrounds and cultures. We are knowledgeable of many different burial rites and customs and promise to honor your family’s traditions. Many of our team members are bilingual and speak both English and Spanish.

Wide variety of burial options

Selecting a final resting spot for yourself or a loved one is an important and emotional decision. At Caballero Rivero Woodlawn West, we will be there to help you choose the cemetery property that’s right for you and your loved ones.

For in-ground burial, we offer upright monuments, flat markers, private estates and customized memorials. If you prefer above-ground burial, we have 2 mausoleums on the cemetery property, as well as lawn crypts and private mausoleums.

For families who choose cremation, we have a lovely cremation garden and provide a variety of memorialization options, including cremation niches, columbaria, benches and estates.

Dignified mausoleum complexes

The 2 mausoleum complexes at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn West provide stately and dignified final resting spots for families who choose above-ground entombment and inurnment. We offer single and companion crypts for entombment as well as niches for those who choose cremation. The 3-story open-air complexes are protected from the elements and designed for peaceful reflection and remembrance. When you look at the dark exterior granite walls of the crypts and niches, you’ll see your own reflection in the walls and a mirror image of the cemetery grounds behind you—an effect that we hope is moving, poignant and memorable.

We coordinate with Miami-area funeral homes

We do not have a funeral chapel on site, but we work with many Miami-area funeral homes to ensure a seamless transition from funeral or memorial service to cemetery. For funeral arrangements, many families we serve use Caballero Rivero Hialeah funeral home, a Dignity Memorial® provider on Okeechobee Road.

There are many beautiful outdoor areas available on the cemetery property for memorial services and we are happy to coordinate with the funeral home of your choice and set up tents and chairs for your friends and family.

Caballero Rivero Woodlawn West sits on the border of Hialeah and Hialeah Gardens, off North Okeechobee Road and 178th Street. Convenient to Ronald Reagan Turnpike, we are less than an hour from Miami International Airport and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

Honoring the Miami community and veterans

Caballero Rivero Woodlawn West celebrates the lives of military veterans each year on Memorial Day. To mark the occasion, we place American flags on every veteran's graves and host a special patriotic event that is open to the public.

Other events we host for the Miami community include Mother’s Day and Father’s Day services and a holiday remembrance ceremony in December.
