Signal Hill Memorial Park in Hanover, Virginia, was founded in 1961. Our location is central to Hanover County, which is convenient and allows us to serve families in Caroline County as well.

Variety of burial options

Signal Hill Memorial ParkOur cemetery consists of more than 60 acres of beautiful grounds for people to visit and reflect on fond memories of loved ones.

At Signal Hill Memorial Park, we have a wide range of interment options available. These options include traditional ground burials, upright memorials, lawn crypts, mausoleum crypts, private mausoleum estates and cremation memorialization, including our brand new Columbarium of Love.

The Columbarium of Love was designed to be adjacent to our lot garden so that family members can be together even when they have differences in burial desires.

We have more than 50 years of serving the Hanover community with their cemetery and burial needs. All the while, our team and location have continued to grow and respond to the changing needs of our community.

We are easily located off of Route 301—close to the Hanover County Government Center and near historic Ashland. Besides our easy-to-find location, we strive to create a peaceful atmosphere for reflection and solace.

Veterans and First Responders

Signal Hill Memorial ParkWe are very close to the Hanover County Government Center in both proximity and spirit, which has created our strong working relationship with the First Responders of Hanover County.

Our cemetery is often chosen to serve as the final resting place for these brave individuals. We’re always honored to support veterans, and we offer a dedicated veterans section of the cemetery.

Annual luminary service

In December, we invite the community to the cemetery for our annual luminary service. We hold this event at Signal Hill Memorial Park to help support families during the holidays.
