History

The Murphy Funeral Home in Falls Church, Virginia, opened in 1965 after founders, Robert J. and Betty Murphy decided to open another location in Northern Virginia to better serve the community. The original Murphy Funeral Home opened in 1956 and was located in Arlington on Columbia Pike and relocated to a larger home on Wilson Boulevard in 1975.
