Cemetery, mausoleum features

Highland has grown into five separate gardens and has two chapel mausoleums and a garden mausoleum. Four of our five gardens have biblical features and themes, and the fifth serves as a Masonic Garden.

Our cemetery grounds were designed as a memorial park, ensuring these gardens have flat bronze memorials mounted on granite. In addition, Highland Memory Gardens features scenic natural beauty with many trees, shrubbery, walkways and flowers to provide peace to our visitors.

Sunrise Burial Park

We also offer services at Sunrise Burial Park, located at 7228 Round House Street, Fairlawn, Virginia, 24141, one mile north of Radford on Route 11. With a rich history, many prominent Radford leaders have been buried at Sunrise Burial Park, including John Preston McConnell (the first president of Radford University), John Nichols Dalton (the 63rd governor of Virginia and a state senator) and James Clinton Turk (a state senator and judge for the District Court of the Western District of Virginia). This location offers many burial options and features Professors Row, a section with gorgeous views of the Radford area.
