Cremation services

Not everyone knows that there are many cremation options. If you are interested in cremation, the funeral home team can explain the process and different options. From a direct cremation without a memorial service or a witness cremation to a full funeral service before or after the cremation and more, we help you understand this increasingly common choice—and handle all of the cremation arrangements.

Our on-site crematorium, Mohave Cremation Service, is the only crematory located at a funeral home in Bullhead City. Having an on-site crematorium means that we always have your loved one in our direct care.

History

For many generations, the Dimond family of funeral homes and cremation services has helped many communities across North America during their time of need. The Dimond family tradition began in 1900 when Charles O. Dimond started the Dimond Funeral Home in South Fork, Pennsylvania, which is still managed by the family today.

Growth and expansion

In the late 1980s, Donald Dimond II saw the large growth occurring along the Colorado River in the Tri-State area and purchased Silver Bell Chapel in Bullhead City, Arizona. He renamed it Dimond & Sons Silver Bell Chapel to go along with the Dimond & Sons funeral homes of Southern California.

In 1995, Donald’s son, Kenneth Dimond, took over the management of the funeral home and soon added 2 funeral homes in the Tri-State area: Dimond & Sons Needles Mortuary and Dimond & Sons Valley View Funeral Home. These additions gave families the opportunity to use the services of a Dimond funeral home regardless of which state they lived in along the Colorado River.
