History

Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont, Texas, have served southeast Texas families for more than 90 years.

In 1926, Forest Lawn Memorial Park opened and was located on 45 acres of land, from Lucas Street to the northern edge of the current azalea garden. As our services expanded, the old Pine Grove Golf Course, located south of Lucas Street, was bought and converted to cemetery spaces and annexed to the cemetery in 1951.

Forest Lawn Memorial Park has since expanded to more than 120 acres. Part of this expansion occurred in 1973, when Forest Lawn Memorial Park bought the land across the street from the cemetery—on the corner of Lucas and Pine streets—and built what is now Forest Lawn Funeral Home.

Though much has changed over the years, our commitment to top-notch service has remained unchanged. It's our honor to serve you during your time of need.

We care about Beaumont

The Beaumont community has been wonderful to our funeral home and cemetery. In return, we are involved in various local charitable organizations. We also honor veterans, reservists and active military on Memorial Day, inviting families to attend and participate in our annual celebration.
