History

For more than 60 years, Rockco Funeral Home has remained committed to our families while meeting the needs of the changing community in Centreville, Alabama. Our funeral home is located on Birmingham Rd. (Hwy 219), where Chester Collins built our current location in 1955. He originally had a funeral home located in West Blocton, Alabama, until he relocated to Centreville.

In 1956, he sold the funeral home to Jack Lee and built a funeral home in Jasper, Alabama. In 1974, Lee retired, and his sons operated Jack Lee and Sons Funeral Home until 1978, when they sold to Billy G. Rockco of Montevallo. Rockco retired in 1998 from the funeral home, and today we are a member of the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers.

Our team looks forward to continuing our tradition of care and helping our families in Centreville and Tuscaloosa with their funeral and cremation needs.

She was so adaptable and flexible while we worked out the picture situation and other paperwork stuff. Kristi and Stacie showed such compassion and empathy to us,...
