On November 23, 2022, our hearts were broken as we all mourn the loss of our beloved sister, Yolanda (Yoli) Meza. Her bright light and big heart left us too soon, but we will remember her warmth, love, and generosity. We will miss our sister, as will those she impacted throughout her life, including friends and family. Yoli was 78 years old and resided in Yuma, Arizona. She was born to Guillermo and Antonia Salgado in Calexico, California. Yoli is survived by her husband, Jimmy Meza, her son, Jimmy Meza Jr., and daughter Joanna Velarde, her five grandchildren, Jillianna Hua, Jackie Velarde, Jonathan Velarde, Robert Meza, and her great granddaughter Emma Hua. Yoli is also survived by her five sisters, Ernie Palomino, Gloria Lopez, Esther Lizarraga, Debbie Vinson, Bea Scannapieco and her brother Ronnie Salgado.
