Timothy Lee Platt

Timothy Lee Platt, 52, long time resident of Yuma, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, AZ, with his family at his side. He was born August 8, 1958 in San Diego, CA to Marion and Gloria Platt. He graduated from Kofa High School. He worked as a Real Estate Agent for Coldwell Banker Crimson Sky Realty. He had a love for his family, friends, the outdoors, and humor.

Timothy is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Brenda Platt; children, Sabrina Nyberg, Jeremiah Martinez, and Jessica & Jared Smith; brother, David Platt; grandchildren, Layla Torzec, Breanna & Isaac Wielander; sister-in-law, Minnie Datchuk, Irene Keith, and Helen Guelker; brothers-in-law, Tony Keith and Ron Cerney; many nieces and nephews will miss him.

Timothy was preceded in death by his son, Nickolas Martinez; parents, Marion and Gloria Platt; brother, Michael Platt.

Private viewing will be held for the family Thursday, September 2, 2010. Services will be at Desert Lawn Memorial Park on Friday, September 3, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. His final resting place will be at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.

Tim will be greatly missed by his family and close friends, Billie & Duane Ward, Tony & Vicki Turrentine, Tory Turrentine, Matt & Brandon Catron, Chuck Lorenzo, Melinda Rico and the Rico Family.
