Rita was born on October 29, 1923, in Yuma, Arizona, she passed away on October 7, 2012, in Yuma. She was a homemaker. She loved to go to the casino, enjoyed volunteering at the church and loved to help others.
She is survived by her son, Mariano "Manny" (Georgia) Moreno, daughter, Norma Moreno, six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
A visitation for Rita will be 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, October 12, 2012 at Funeraria del Angel Chapel, the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 11:30 a.m. and a Scripture Service at noon. Burial will follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Yuma, Arizona. Pallbearers include, Jesse Rodriguez, Mario Rodriguez, Willie Rodriguez, Mano Moreno, Chris Moreno and Alex Moreno.
