Judy had various jobs before she landed a career in early childhood education at the Quechan HeadStart. She spoke fondly of the memories she made there and the children she guided. From there, she worked at the Cocopah Casino during the early years and eventually was appointed as the Executive Director of Gaming where she retired after 28 years of service.
Judy was a sharp dresser and prided herself on presenting a well-polished appearance. She was a proficient crafter and loved all holidays, especially Christmas. She was known for her Christmas pins that she would gift to close friends and family. She found joy in gardening and bead crafts. One of her favorite pastimes was enjoying movies and music of all genres and playing Spider Solitaire on her iPad.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Bonnie Davis; her sisters, Flora Montague, and Marie Villanueva; and her brothers, Brown and Harold Ted.
She is survived by a multitude of nieces and nephews, who will miss her dearly.
A special thanks to her nieces: Gaylynn Mai, Sharon Lujan, Donna Mitchell, and Jennifer Townsend. The family would also like to thank Hospice of Yuma and their staff for their provided care and Susan Koteen and Taleena Garcia who helped with the preparation of traditional dress.
