Joseph John Bernardo Sr.

He was born Monday July 4, 1960, San Diego, California to Robert and Alice Bernardo. He was married to Ruby Bernardo and together had 4 children and 10 grandchildren to whom he will be sorely missed. He is survived by his siblings Noah, Robert, Belinda, Donna & Diana. Joe was loved by many and adored by all. He was a compassionate man who walked a blessed life filled with laughter and love. He created memories with his charisma and fearlessness.

Joe’s ideal day was to be surrounded by friends and family which he loved to entertain, with jokes, conversation and singing. He had a beautiful captivating singing voice and he was full of entertainment.

Joe was more than just a personality, he was a man of God and gave his time and energy to those who needed it. He loved to help, loved to be there for family, and loved to be wanted. We now all want him more than ever and he will be intensely missed. But we celebrate knowing he is in the presence of, as he said, “the King of Kings our Lord, Jesus Christ.”
