Linda Lou Spencer Leppert, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully in her home in Yucaipa, CA on December 25, 2022. Born in Malone, NY on September 3, 1942, she attended the State University of New York at Potsdam during which time she met the love of her life, Ron. Soon after graduation, they married on June 13, 1964. They raised 2 children, Terri and Spence. Together they created a life filled with camping and Camera Club activities.
In 1978 Linda and Ron went on a Marriage Encounter weekend and it changed the course of their lives. They were active in helping others enrich their marriages through Marriage Encounter until 1995. They also helped couples with marriage and baptism preparations through St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church.
In addition, LInda was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Linda loved being a teacher. She taught at Sacred Heart Academy in Redlands, Precious Blood School in Banning, and Dollahan Elementary School in Rialto. She taught grades 2nd-5th for 24 years.
Linda was best known for her beautiful smile that lit up any room she walked into. Her lively spirit, fun-loving wit, and deep affection for others made her a friend to many.
Linda is survived by her husband Ronald Leppert, daughter Terri Negrete (son-in-law Alan), son Spencer Leppert (daughter-in-law Fida), and her grandchildren Max and Nick. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the American Parkinson’s Disease Association.
