Jim never had a birthday in 1994 or so he told us.. That  year he travelled to France/Spain for our wedding. Everybody forgot to wish him happy birthday. Needless to say we never forgot to wish him happy birthday again. In this photo, he again travelled to meet us when we lived in Puerto Rico. He loved  it there! I first met Jim in 1989-90 through my sister in law Bridget.We shared a love for good food and while I was studying at UW we went to the same Greek restaurant in Aurora every week. Our favorite: the Spinakopeta. In 1992, I needed a project for school and worked at Paccar with Jim’s team. Everyone looked up to Jim. He had worked there since he was 18. He knew his stuff at work and on house project. He shared his many talents with us when worked on our house. I vividly remember him working on an harbor for my roses and a fence with my husband Matt while I sat there just having delivered Emily. I joined Paccar in 1994 and walked with Jim everyday in Kirkland until 1998 when I switched jobs. He was present at every family event after that and we considered him family. We are very sad of his passing and will always remember him fondly!

Ahh!! Poor Jimmy. I really miss him already. Wished he would have stayed up Seattle way when he retired so I could play golf with him more. I worked with Jim 30ish years. He was an outstanding engineer. Valued his opinion on everything. I don’t believe I met anyone with more integrity than Jim. What a guy. I’m sure he will be missed by many. Hey Jim, use yellow balls up there. Love ya buddy.
