Buchanan, Billie Jean, 92, of Sun City, AZ passed away on May 20, 2018. Billie was born July 28, 1925, in Vinita, Oklahoma. She spent most of her youth and early adulthood near McCune, Kansas, where she married her husband, Ernest, in 1945. Ernest died in 2012. Both Ernest and Billie worked in the War Department in Washington DC near the end of World War II. After the war, they returned to Kansas and also lived for a time in Texas. In 1992, they moved to Sun City. During their years in retirement, they enjoyed touring the country in their RV and square dancing. Billie was loved by everyone for her sharp wit and sense of humor.
