Linda Kay Rudge (née Phillips) passed away on June 10, 2024, in Yorba Linda, CA, at the age of 85. She was born on August 3, 1938, in Yorba Linda, CA. Linda was a loving and passionate teacher, having dedicated her career to being a Kindergarten teacher at Little Friends/Friends Christian School. She received her higher education from Fullerton Junior College and California State University Long Beach.
Linda was a cherished member of the community and worshipped at Rose Drive Friends Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, camping, and indulging in Red Vines. Linda will be deeply missed by her husband, William, her children Kathleen, Kimberly, Michael, and Melissa, as well as her 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Leeta and Sherman and her brother Clyde.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Friends Christian School or Rose Drive Friends Church. The funeral arrangements are being handled by McAulay and Wallace in Fullerton, CA. Linda will be remembered for her unwavering love and dedication to her family and her passion for educating young minds.
