Tereza C. Gualdino

Born in Extrema, Brazil on August 20, 1936. In 1954, she married Francisco, who predeceased her in 2022. They immigrated to the United States in 1956 and settled in Yonkers, New York, where she lived until 2023. Tereza worked for many years as a nurses aide at Hudson View Nursing Home. She continued to work in that capacity privately for many years thereafter. Tereza was a Eucharistic minister and volunteered for various assignments at Christ the King Church in Yonkers, NY.

Tereza is survived by her sons, Edward (Angela), Anthony (Georgina) and Franklin. She was also predeceased by her son, Frank (Lisa).

She will be missed by her seven cherished grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Tereza will be held Wednesday, October 16, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Yonkers, N.Y. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
