Nellie DeDivitis

Born on June 25, 1921 in Yonkers to Maria(Turco) and Joseph DeDivitis. She was predeceased by her parents and siblings Jeanette Costa, John DeDivitis and Lucy Pirro and her niece Carolyn Galati and nephew Francesco Galati. She is survived by her niece and nephew Diane and Leo O’Leary with whom she made her home, and their children. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews including Diane and Anthony Costa and their children, Joseph Galati, Frank Galati Jr., Jeanette Vercammen and their children, Eileen Pirro and her children, Lorraine Pirro, and Donna Pirro. Aunt Nellie, as everyone knew her, was a gentle soul who was loved by all. She had a special way of making those around her feel loved unconditionally. She will be sorely missed by many generations and will live forever in our hearts. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Sunday 4-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church on Monday October 7th at 9:30am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
