Lester S. Fonacier, 76 of Yonkers, New York, joined sister death on April 7, 2024.
Lester was born in the Laoag City, Ilocos Norte Philippines in January 4, 1948 to Felix Fonacier and Teodora Santos Fonacier.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Benedicta ‘Bennie’ Fonacier, daughter Maria, sons Erwin and Kevin; grandsons Gabriel and Raphael and brother Bobby.
Lester was a member of the 3rd Order Franciscan and retired from Montefiore Hospital after over 20 years of service. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, April 10th at
Sacred Heart Church on 110 Shonnard Place in Yonkers, NY.
Following the mass will be a Christian Burial service from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at
St. Mary's Cemetery, Sprain Road, Yonkers, NY 10703.
