Frances Grabowski

Born on January 30, 1925 in Yonkers NY she was the daughter of the late Valentine and Catherine Byra Pietrowicz.

She attended Gorton High School, Yonkers, NY.

While attending St. Casimirs Parish she met and married Henry Grabowski on Febuary 9, 1952.They were the love of each others lives for 64 years.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved crocheting and spending time with her family.

She was a member of the Holy Rosary Alter Society at St. Bartholomew Church

for seven years.

Frances is survived by her husband Henry,son Thomas and wife Diane,

grandsons Jason and fiance Kelly, Justin and wife Amanda and great-granddaughter Fiona, Jordan and wife Lauren.

Frances was predeceased by her son Robert who passed away May 8, 2014.

She was also predeceased by her parents and two brothers John and Stanley Pietrowicz.

Calling hours will be held from 4-8 on Thursday May 12 at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home, 168 Park Ave. Yonkers, NY.

A mass of Christian burial will be offered on Friday May 13, at 11:00am at St.Bartholomew Church, 115 Palmer Road, Yonkers, NY and laid to rest at

Mount Hope Cemetery, 11 Jackson Ave. Hastings on Hudson NY.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations maybe made in Frances's name to Calvary Hospital, 1740 Eastchester Road, Bronx, NY 10461
