Anita Louise Masterson

Anita was born on February 8th, 1963 to Gerald and Louise Masterson. Anita was one of their five children and their only daughter. She was educated and graduated from Yonkers High School. Anita worked numerous different jobs but she is most well-known for her years of service at St. John’s Riverside Hospital as a unit secretary. Everyone always knew Anita for her sassy, fun, and outgoing personality. While Anita didn't have any children of her own, she cared for all of her nieces and nephews as if they were her own. She raised her nephew, Jason, as her own son for most of his life. Anita was also blessed wIth great nieces and nephews who brightened her day daily. Anita is preceded by her mother (2013), father(1993) and brother, Edward (2020). Anita is survived by her brothers Joseph, Michael (Elizabeth), Christopher and sister in law Carol. Along with her pride and joy nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Monday 4-8pm and Tuesday 2-6pm. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday April 6th at 10am. Cremation will follow at Ferncliff Crematory in Hartsdale.
