Cumberland, ME=- Mary Elizabeth Fitzgerald, 69, of Cumberland, ME, passed away suddenly at home on April 22, 2024, following a long illness. She was born on April 5, 1955, in Mt. Kisco, NY, to the late Harriet Molloy Ferrant and Theodore F. Ferrant. Mary Elizabeth, also known as Mary Beth or Beth, is survived by her husband, John “Fitzy” Fitzgerald of nearly forty-four years. She is also survived by her brother, Theodore F. Ferrant, Jr. (Dr. Maria Kukovica), Killaloe, Ontario, Canada; sister, Harriet F. Kline (John) of Mooresville, NC. She will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded by her brother, Paul H. Ferrant. Beth was an exceptionally kind and generous person who was passionate about gardening and lovingly cared for her pets and horses. May she rest in peace.
