Richard attended Yakima High School, now known as Davis High School. He was into sports, suck as football and pole vaulting. He had a wonderful sense of humor. Richard and Susan were married in New York City at St. Andrew’s Curch. My many memories of days passed, will surely be a tribute to a special person.
Richard is survived by his wife, Susan Sargent; children, Timothy Sargent, David Sargent, Jackie Sargent, Tommy Sargent, Robin Tessiner, Richard Sargent, Danielle Brudecki, Roy Sargent and Kristine Sargent; step sons, Michael, Joseph and Tony Katchuk; sisters, Linda Roth, Pati Bemis and Susan Gifford; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A time of remembrance will be held 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 15, 2011 at Keith & Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Keith & Keith Funeral Home.
