Duke was born June 6, 1949, in Seattle Washington to parents Ida Bell Torrel and Kenneth Rolfsness. Duke was the oldest of 3 siblings leaving behind his sister Merina Pope and brother Ken Rolfsness. He loved and enjoyed his family while finishing his education. At a very young age Duke developed a love for his county and joined the Army where he did 3 tours of Vietnam including the TET Offensive. After 4 years he left to continue his education to obtain his bachelor’s degree. At that point Duke re-enlisted in the Marine Corps where he was a MP and completed 9 years before he ended his Military career as an honored Vietnam Veteran. After settling into a somewhat normal life, he met his loving wife, Deborah Tolbert. They enjoyed dining out and long drives in his beloved corvette. He also enjoyed playing his guitar and singing. After his marriage to Deborah on September 20, 1986, Duke discovered his faith in the Catholic Church.
Duke is survived by his loving wife Deborah Rolfsness and his daughter and son-in law Vanessa and George Gladback and 3 loving grandchildren: Jaymes Landsiedel, Richard Landsiedel, and Brittney Landsiedel as well as 7 beautiful great grandchildren.
