Pauline (Keltner) Stephenson was born May 12th, 1936 in Los Angeles, California. She met the love of her life there, Gene Stephenson, in 1954, and they were married in 1955. She was the most amazing mom. Raising her 4 children was the greatest joy in her life. They moved with their 4 children to Washington in 1969 where they made a life for themselves. She took a lot of pride in getting her driver’s license and returning to work once her children were in school.
Pauline was a feisty and special lady. She loved to bowl and was a talented woodworker and crafter. She and her husband would take her crafts to local bazaars. She was an amazing grandmother and great grandmother that always made everyone feel special. She enjoyed her travels to California to spend time with her brothers, sisters, and family. She loved her trips to the Oregon Coast, and appreciated a good yard sale and a rare find at a thrift store. Later in life she enjoyed watching her Seahawks, and would love to wear her gear, and yell and shout at the TV with everyone else, while eating a treat and enjoying a hot cup of coffee. She was recently baptized and found a closeness to God and enjoyed listening to Christian music.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband Gene Stephenson, her brother Gerald, and sisters Bonnie and Nita, and her son-in-law Lonnie Baughman.
She is survived by her daughters Debbie Baughman, Terri (Curt) Soden, her son Nick (Trinda) Stephenson, and her daughter Lori McLemore, her brothers Donald (Mary) Keltner and Dennis (Leanne) Keltner, both of California; her 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
