Patricia Lee PedersenPatricia Lee Pedersen, age 66, passed away February 2, 2010. She was born on June 27, 1943 to Carroll and Lucille Sprouse in Omak, WA. She moved from Okanogan to Richland where she started school eventually finishing school in Yakima and graduating from Eisenhower.Patricia married Douglas Pedersen in 1963. They raised two children in Yakima. Patricia enjoyed family camping trips with their special friends the Martins, playing pinochle with her girl friend of 35 years and her shopping trips to Seattle, Coeur d’Alene, ID and Las Vegas. She hardly missed a Seattle Mariners game whether it was in person or on TV.Patricia started work as a dental assistant, but later found great pleasure in caring for children in her home and educational environment. Patricia is survived by her husband of 46 years, Douglas Pedersen of Yakima; son, Timothy Pedersen of Yakima; daughter, Christian Pedersen of Yakima; Her mother of 90 plus years old Lucille Sprouse of Yakima; relatives and many close friends.She was preceded in death by her father, Carroll Sprouse, grandparents, Roy & Iris Sprouse and Larkin & Lucy Warden.A Memorial Service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 8, 2010 at Keith & Keith Terrace Heights Chapel.
