Jerry was born in Denton, Texas.
He is survived by his daughter, Syrilda Welch of Yakima, two sons, Jeremiah Welch of Yakima and Jackie Welch of Connell, WA; five grandchildren; three sisters, Beverly Dudley of Independence, OR, Jackie Lou Baker of Dallas, OR and Carolyn Reagan of Salem, OR.
Visitation and viewing will be held at Keith & Keith Funeral Home on Friday, January 2, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Rainier Memorial Center, 2807 Terrace Heights Drive, Yakima, on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.
