Janet was born to John and Virginia Stewart on January 21, 1959. She graduated from Springfield High School in 1977. Then went on to get her Cosmetology license working in beauty salons until starting a family in 1983. Janet and her three children moved to Yakima in 1989. She attended Yakima Valley Community College getting her RN license in 1994 making the Dean’s list many times. Her passion was working in Nursing Homes and In-home Care. She loved bowling and got the perfect score when she married the love of her life, Audie Gill on November 4, 2006. She had two grandchildren that kept her young.
Janet and Audie served at their local church every Sunday together sharing the love of God. After retiring in 2011, she also volunteered throughout the community. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and board games with family and friends. Throughout the years, she sewed many things as well as crocheted blankets and other articles of clothing to keep others warm.
Janet is survived by her husband and love of her life of 11 years, Audie Gill of Yakima; her brother Thomas Stewart of West Linn, OR; daughters Jennifer Leslie of Selah and Kimberly Aulakh of Moorhead, MN; son Jonathan Hansen of Sutherlin, OR; grandchildren Skyler and MaKylah of Selah, and many family and friends.
Janet is preceded in death by her parents John and Virginia (Haygena) Stewart, brother James Stewart, Angel Grandbabies and extended family.

Visitation will be Friday, March 16, 2018 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Keith & Keith Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be at Wenas Cemetery, north of Selah, on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Memorial Service at Stone Church, 3303 Englewood Avenue at 12:00 p.m.
