Jeremy Joseph Zielsdorf, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on May 8, 2024, in Westerville, at the age of 39. Born on March 9, 1985, Jeremy brought joy and warmth to all who knew him.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his father, Terry R. Zielsdorf, and is survived by his devoted mother, Sharon R. Spano Zielsdorf, his loving brother Jason Zielsdorf (Sarah), his cherished niece Eva Rose Zielsdorf, and his adored nephew Jacob (Jack) Terry Zielsdorf.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, fondly remembered by his doting grandmother Joan Zielsdorf, his aunt Cheryl Zielsdorf, uncle Randy Zielsdorf, aunt Gale Filipowski, uncle Bill Spano, numerous cousins, and a multitude of friends near and far.
Jeremy's academic achievements were celebrated as he graduated from Worthington Kilbourne High School in 2005, earning The Presidential Award for his dedication and excellence.
A devout member of Sunbury Assembly of God, Jeremy found fulfillment in assisting with Children's Church, embodying compassion and kindness in all he did.
Jeremy's passion for sports shone brightly through his participation in Special Olympics Bowling and Track events, where he clinched numerous Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals, inspiring others with his determination and spirit. An avid supporter of OSU Football, Jeremy cheered passionately for his favorite team.
Beyond athletics, Jeremy's artistic talents flourished as he showcased his creativity through mesmerizing acrylic paintings, pottery, and ceramic works, leaving an indelible mark on all who beheld his creations.
His beautiful voice enriched many hearts as he sang in a music group, his soul resonating with the timeless tunes of Motown, with "My Girl" standing as a cherished solo performance.
Above all, Jeremy cherished his connections with friends and family, finding joy in every moment shared, particularly with his beloved brother Jason.
A funeral service for Jeremy will be held Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Schoedinger Worthington, 6699 N High Street, Worthington, OH 43085, followed by a visitation from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
In honor of Jeremy's memory, donations are graciously welcomed to Worthington Special Olympics, c/o Sharon Hayes, Treasurer, 4100 Kenny Rd, Columbus, OH 43230, to continue supporting the causes that brought him immense joy and fulfillment throughout his life.
Jeremy's vibrant spirit, kind heart, and enduring legacy will be treasured forever in the hearts of all who knew him.
