Peggy liked arts and crafts and reading books. She enjoyed being outside in her garden and also planting flowers. She worked at Marietta Middle School as an administrative assistant for over 20 years. After retirement, she spent most of her time with her grandkids. She was an amazing fulltime grandmother and loved to be with her family. Peggy was married to Frederick “Fritz” Shepherd for 31 years before his passing.
Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, Fritz; brothers, Richard Adams and Jimmy (Katherine) Adams; and sister, Charlotte Puckett.
She is survived by her sons, Kevin (Leesa) Shepherd, David (Jan Laketa) Shepherd and Kerry Shepherd; daughter, Mary Shepherd; and grandchildren, Katie (Hunter) Carl, Adam Shepherd, Morgan Laketa, Quinn Shepherd, and Zachary Shepherd.
A funeral service will be held at Woodstock Funeral Home on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 12:00p.m. She will be laid to rest in Georgia Memorial Park following the service.
