Michael Patrick O'Brien, 48, of Woodstock, GA passed away suddenly December 20, 2015.Raised in Hamlin, NY; Mike was preceded in death by his older brother James O’Brien III. He is survived by his loving parents James & Cynthia O’Brien of Plantation, FL; siblings Kelly O’Brien & Scott O’Brien; grandparents Richard & Nancy Boulton; cherished nephews & nieces Sean, Kevin, Dailey & McKenna O’Brien; many aunts, uncles, cousins, & his long time friend Christina.

Mike was forever soaking up adventure in the books he enjoyed and rarely had out of his hands. On weekends you could find him walking the trails, paddling his kayak, hitting a few targets, or sitting back with his eyes closed enjoying the warm sun on his face. With a brilliant mind, witty sense of humor, & an infectious grin; he could turn any topic into a side-splitting story. Mostly Mike was a trusted & loyal friend who would go the extra mile for anyone in need, lend a kind ear, or offer a supportive shoulder. He will be deeply missed by those he knew and touched. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.
