Every Friday night for the last 6 years Lisa brought the joy and love of music to my children Emma and Rachel. She was one of the most positive people I have every met. She was always so encouraging and full of life. We will miss her terribly. I have so many memories of her and know I will never forget her. I'll miss her most at Christmas time, when I hear Carol of the Bells and for sure if I ever see a revolving Christmas tree I will fall apart. She is singing and playing music with the angels now. Dennis and Alyssa, we are so grateful to have known Lisa and thank you for sharing her with us.

I was lucky to have Lisa for a Sister.  I've met so many remarkable people over the last week who's lives were touch by Lisa.  She will be missed by all that knew her.  We shared a lot of tears and laugher over the years and tons of memories I will miss your smile and that laugh only you could do.  Denny and Alyssa you are in my daily prayers and will always be a part of our lives.  Rest sweet sister until we meet in Heaven remember I love you!

Lisa was like a sister to me that I never had. She left a legacy so hudge that toched so many lives. It is going to be very hard to go on without her in our family . It was such a shock to us. We never expected a death in the family this soon after loosing our beloved papa.my love and prayers go out to Denny and Alyssa.

We were so lucky to have gotten to know Lisa as her folks lived across the street from us.  Very saddened to learn of her passing.  She was a wonderful, loving person and gifted musician.  She'll be greatly missed.  Sincere condolences to Dennis and her sisters.

We were lucky that we had the privilege of knowing Mrs. Jones. Every week that we arrived at piano, she greeted us with warmth, excitement and kindness. During the lesson she was always willing to teach the children any song they wanted- she even taught us the Phinneus and Ferb Theme Song! She could simply listen to the song and write it out for the children to learn. We all enjoyed our Friday night lessons at Mrs. Jones's house. When we were leaving - If we were lucky -we got to see Miss Minnie, their dog. Our Friday nights will never be the same but we feel fortunate that our paths crossed and we were lucky enough to know Mrs. Jones.

I am so very sorry to lose Lisa.  She was (and still is in heaven!) one of the finest people I have ever had the honor to work with.  We only met face to face in 2012 at Hubbell Corp. for training, but we talked a lot over the years.  Lean on our Lord, Jesus Christ and he will get the family through this very sad and difficult time.  I am so grateful I knew Lisa and know my life is better for having known her.

My husband who read the AJC asked me if I knew Lisa, since she was at GSU at the same time as me, and we are the same age. Back then it was a small group of true freshmen, and I did know Lisa. Her face from 1978 came flooding into my mind.She looked the same when I picked up the paper. I always admired Lisa because she shone with a light from within. She was warm and gracious and friendly and pretty. I could not count her as a friend, because I was working two part time jobs and taking a full load at school. We never got to know each other very well, but I am so impressed with the life she led and I wanted to share my sincerest sympathies on the loss of Lisa.

I am so sorry for your loss of such a beautiful soul. I worked with Lisa at Hubbell and I did get to meet her 2 years ago at our Shelton office. She was always so helpful and such a dedicated worker. I will miss her so much. May you find peace in God's word through this difficult time.

May the God of ALL comfort grant you HIS peace during this time of grief, as only HE can.  It is our prayer that He will be with and bring comfort to Denny and Alyssa, extended family members, relatives and friends with the passing of Lisa.  She made such a huge impact on everyone she came in contact with and it is obvious that we will all miss her greatly!  

To all who knew of her musical talents ... all we can say is WOW!  I can't wait to hear her play the organ with the likes of Anthony Burger (on piano) when we all get to heaven!  I'm sure it is going to be awesome!! 

In the days to come, may you continue to have fond memories of all the times spent with your loved one.  She was a truly special lady that will be greatly missed.

I worked with Lisa at Hubbell for the past 17 years and had finally met her 2 years ago when she came to visit us here in the Shelton CT office. I am so grateful that I finally got to meet Lisa who was such a wonderful person . She will truly be missed.

Lisa was very kind, and supportive, whenever I needed assistance at work.  I know she is loved, and will be missed by many.  I pray that your faith, and God, will bring her family and friends, peace and comfort during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all,

Lisa was a very compassionate, sweet woman, and I am glad I had the opportunity to meet her.  It is hard to take in that she is no longer with us.  She will be greatly missed.  My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

Ms. Jones, as our girls called her, was one of the nicest people anyone could meet. She taught piano to all 3 of our girls and they just loved her. She had such a talent working with kids. She will be missed very much. We are so lucky we were able to know and spend some time with her. She will always be in our hearts. We are very saddened and heartbroken.

Lisa was an amazing teacher.  She was so patient and kind, and she really knew how to teach to each student as an individual.  She had a real gift for teaching.  Our family will miss her very much, as a teacher, and as a friend.

My daughter Nicola took piano lessons with Lisa for the past 7 years.  Lisa was such an amazing teacher, full of enthusiasm.  She had such a positive impact on our lifes. We will miss sharing music with her.

My heart breaks for this loss and her family, she was Angel to everyone who knew her she was my sweet cousin so sorry it has been to long since I seen her, had plans of seeing her this year. We never know what tomorrow holds we know heaven gained amazing talented Angel this week, will always hold sweet memories of Lisa close to my heart. Mrs. Jones was such an amazing, dynamic person.  My daughter, Anna, took piano lessons from her for about two years. We loved her for her positive approach to teaching, her warm smile, robust laughter, beautiful voice, incredible piano talent and loving spirit. We so enjoyed going to see her each week. Sometimes she would play the piano for us, and it was so obvious how much she loved music. And she seemed to love sharing that with us.  We already miss her so much.   I hope that we are able to find someone to take piano lessons from again, but I know that we will never find anyone like Mrs. Jones. I really want Anna to keep going with piano because Anna loves it, but also to honor Mrs. Jones.  I know that she would want Anna to keep learning and making music. Although, I know if Anna decides to not take piano again - Mrs. Jones' influence lives on because Anna loves music, loves piano, loves Mrs. Jones and we are all better for knowing her. Although we were not friends for long, we are so lucky that we were able to be connected to Mrs. Jones for a short time.  It isn't everyday that you get to meet someone that touches your heart and makes you feel like someone great thinks you are great.  Anna and I both always left Mrs. Jones feeling appreciated and optimistic.  Anna knew that Mrs. Jones believed in her and really cared about her. She is a special lady that we will always remember as a very special friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

I am truly saddened by the passing  of my dear friend and piano teacher.  Lisa instilled in me a confidence to begin my piano studies again after 50 years.  She demystified the piano and at the same time enriched our friendship.  Lisa will forever hold a special place in my heart and I will always remember her kind, gentle  caring ways and her wonderful smile.  She will be dearly missed.  May God always be with your family and especially now during your time of grief.
