Jo Ann Conkell Jones

After graduating from Pensacola High School, Jo Ann attended Pensacola Junior College and earned her Associates Degree in 1970. She finished her education at the University of West Florida, where she earned a BS in Elementary Education, finishing in 1972. From 1976-1977, Jo Ann taught at the Epiphany Catholic Elementary School in North Miami. In 1977 she changed career paths and worked for Delta Airlines as a flight attendant, retiring in 2005. After her retirement, she worked as a private investigator.

Jo Ann was a devout Catholic and member of St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church in Roswell. Jo Ann was a loving and faithful wife and devoted mother. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Jo Ann is survived by her beloved husband of 34 years, Douglas Howard Jones; children, Timothy Jones, Mark Jones and Kellie Jones (and wife, Liberty); and sister, Sabra Wilson.

A funeral mass will be Friday, March 12, 2021 at 3:00pm at St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church, 11330 Woodstock Rd, Roswell, GA 30075. The family will receive friends in the parish hall one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park, Canton, GA.
