Debborah Favre Strohm

Debborah Favre (VanBalen) Strohm, age 74, of Woodstock, Georgia quietly passed away from this life on Saturday, January 27, 2024. Debbie was born on May 20, 1949, to the late Helen Louise VanBalen and Bernard Francis Vanbalen.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Ron. Debbie’s children include Danica (Dani) Wirz her husband Mark and Ryan his wife Leigh. Dani’s children include Jordan and Josh. Ryan’s children include Mason, Reagan and Ava. Debbie is also survived by her sister, Denise and her children Jeremey, Jessica, Jennifer and Jodie.

Debbie graduated from Bishop Hartley High School in 1967.

Debbie loved crafts, reading and working in the yard with her husband. Debbie enjoyed traveling with her late cousin Bea and her husband Rich. Travel included several cruises, all-inclusive resorts and travel in the United States including Alaska and Hawaii.

Debbie spent her working career at the front desk of Pediatric and OBGYN practices. The majority of her career was working at the World of Pediatrics with Dr. Vayman.

The family will receive friends at the Woodstock Funeral Home on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 3:00 PM. The memorial service will begin at 4:00 PM. A reception will be held at her home, 115 Olde Heritage Way, Woodstock, GA. immediately after the service.

In-lieu-of flowers please donate to the Community Health Foundation with designation for Affinis Hospice or to the Alzheimer’s Society.

Final interment will be at the Canton Veterans Cemetery at a later date.

A memorial visitation for Debborah will be held Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Woodstock Funeral Home, 8855 Main St, Woodstock, GA 30188, followed by a memorial service from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
