Margaret E. DiPippo (née Rennie), of Astoria, NY, passed peacefully on April 18, 2025. She was born in Manhattan, NY on January 11, 1943, to the late William and Cecilia (Ramelli) Rennie. Known as Madge and YaYa, she was the Greatest of All Time!
She was predeceased by her husband Anthony (“Tony”), her beloved son Anthony, and brothers William (“Bill”) and Robert (“Bobby”) Rennie. She is survived by her son Michael DiPippo; daughter, Joann (Eugene) Li; two adoring grandchildren, Stephanie and Teresa; sister Joan Campbell, sisters-in-law Mary Lee Rennie (née O’Neal), and Rita DiPippo (née Locorotondo); several nieces and nephews; and a beloved chosen family who cheered her on, clinked glasses with her, and walked beside her through a life fully lived. Her family grew through love, laughter, loyalty, and thousands of memorable moments.
Visiting hours at Conway Funeral Home, 41-45 58th Street, Woodside, NY 11377 on Wednesday, April 23rd from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A mass of Christian burial will take place on Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Rita RC Church, 36-25 11th Street, Long Island City, NY 11106. She will be laid to rest at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd., Calverton, NY 11933.
