Diane Catherine Twomey - Cuddy

Diane Catherine Twomey Cuddy passed peacefully into eternal rest on December 1, 2024, after a long battle with medical complications. Diane was born on November 7, 1942, to James and Dorothy Twomey in Queens, NY, where she resided in multiple locations. Upon completing her education, she became employed by The Rockefeller Center Group in NYC for over 40 years. While employed there she met the love of her life, John J. Cuddy, whom she married on June 22, 1985.

Diane was a faith-filled woman who touched the lives of countless people. She was passionate about the NY Mets and her music. She deeply loved and cared for her friends and family. Her relationships with them gave her tremendous fulfillment and abundant joy.

Diane is predeceased by her husband, John J. Cuddy, her parents, James and Dorothy Twomey, her sister Doreen (George) Schuppel, her brother Donald Twomey, and her stepson, John J. Cuddy Jr.

Diane is survived by two nieces, Agnes Schuppel and Colleen (Mark) Stevens, and her nephew, Michael Schuppel, all currently residing in Arizona. She also leaves her stepchildren, Dennis (Margaret) Cuddy of Bluffton, SC, Michael (Cyndi) Cuddy of New City, NY, and Anne M. Cuddy of Nanuet, NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for her at 10:45 am on January 9, 2025, at St. Joan of Arc Church in Jackson Heights, NY, followed by her burial at Calvary Cemetery in Woodside, NY.
