Antonio Cruz Cruz

Medical Center, NJ. Antonio was the oldest of 7 children by Francisco and Anatolia Cruz. A

native of the Philippines, he immigrated to American in 1985. Antonio a.k.a Kuya Tommy

referred to him by his siblings and Tony by his friends and colleagues, always had a smile on

his face and is often armed with funny jokes.

One of his hero was his uncle, Tatang Cardin. He emulated him by always making himself

available to all his siblings especially during difficult times. Like his uncle, he loved bringing in

baskets of fruits and treats whenever he visited Ate Gemma and family. His neatness and

organization was fully demonstrated by how he always walked around in his fresh-iron-crisp

polo shirts and chino pants.

Antonio loved his “boys”. They are the apple of his eyes. He loved his profession as an

architect. I think he made it more functional by adding construction management under his

belt. He loved hiking especially of the national parks, and later on he took the time to enjoy

Europe.

Antonio C. Cruz is survived by his three children Eric Ian Cruz (39 years old), Thomas Cruz (21

years old) and Nickolas Cruz (19 years old), by his four siblings, Silverio Cruz, Gemma C.

ElSammak, Aida C. Bagas and Imelda C. Migaly, and by many beloved in-laws, nieces and

nephews.

A reposing for Antonio will be held Monday, May 6, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Thomas

M. Quinn & Sons Funeral Home 41- 45 58th St, Queens, NY 11377.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 from 10:45 AM - 11:45 AM at

St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church 58-02 Roosevelt Ave. New York, NY 11377

An Interment will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 from 12:45 PM - 1:15 PM at St. Raymond

New Cemetery 2600 Lafayette Ave. New York, NY 10465.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to Hackensack University Medical Center

John Theurer Cancer Center Greatest Need 30 Prospect Ave. Hackensack, NJ 07601. HUMC

provided an exceptional oncology surgical and medical services, and later on end-of-life care

to our beloved brother, Kuya Tommy
