Ruth Mabel McLees

In the east central range land of Jordan, Montana, Ruth Mabel Rager was born on July 5, 1926, the fourth child of Harry and Esther Rager – hard working homesteaders whose deep love of the Lord became the cornerstone of her life.

On January 1, 2021, surrounded by her family, she peacefully donned her Heavenly angel wings.

Preceded in death by husband, James; parents, Harry and Esther Rager; sister, Evelyn (Olaf) Jensen; brother Rudolph R. Rager; infant twin brothers; infant great-granddaughter, Nevaeh.

Her legacy will be carried on by surviving children: Cynthia, Mary Stubbs, James (Shelley), and Patrick; grandchildren Joel (Pam), Allison (Jon), Angela, James Matthew (Nicole), Jenna, and Douglas; great-grandchildren Alexia, Gabriella, Kaia, River, Elijah and Millee. Beloved nieces, nephews, great-grand nieces and nephews, friends and special sister-in-law, Sharon Rager.

She is clothed in strength and dignity and she laughs without fear of the future. Proverbs 31:25.

Although she leaves us with an ache in our hearts and an emptiness that will not be filled, we know that we will be with her again because of Jesus’ promises for eternal life. Until we are united with her, we will cherish all the beautiful memories and keep her always in our hearts.

A Celebration of Ruth’s life will be on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 11:00AM at New Life Church in Woodbury. The visitation will start at 10:00.
