Margo Crawford

Of Oak Park Heights, MN, and formerly of Lake City, Eden Prairie, and Duluth MN, died on Saturday, January 7th, 2017 at Boutwells Landing Care Center in Oak Park Heights, MN. The Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Crawford will be at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 8260 4th St. N., Oakdale, MN on Thursday, January 12th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Bauman officiating. A visitation will be 1 hour prior to the Mass. Margo Crawford (Lane) was born on January 16th, 1936 in Taos, NM to Charles and Alice (Michaud) Lane. She grew up in Danville, Ill. In 1954, she graduated from Schlarman Catholic High School in Danville. in 1958, she graduated from St. Mary's School of Nursing at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. While in Rochester, she met the love of her life, William Matthew Crawford. They were married on June 20th, 1959 and had three daughters together, Dianne, Adele, and Corinne. Her daughters were the center of her life and her best work. Margo is survived by Dianne Moening (Patrick) of Maple Grove, MN, Adele Moran (Mark) of Woodbury, MN, Corinne (Cory) Crawford (and Paul Johnson) of Hudson, WI; two grandchildren, Michael and Katherine Moening, and a brother, Father Edmund C. Lane of Staten Island, NY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Matt, her parents, Charles and Alice Lane, her brother, Lawrence Lane, and her sister Sharon (Ihsan) Kent. A private interment will be held at Frontenac Cemetery at a later date. Memorials preferred to Donors choice.
