He is survived by his children Gregg (Jenny), Laurie, Sue (Brian) Kurzhal, Nancy (Brad) Sauer; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and his life partner Sharon Schilla; her sons John (Karin), Paul (Pam), Michael and Stephen Pignato; and their children.
Preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Ellen (nee Mathison); and five siblings.
Harlan was an avid hunter and fisherman, Army Veteran of the Korean War, and was known as Whitey and Gunner to his friends. He was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.
Memorial at 12:30 PM Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Wulff Funeral Home, 2195 Woodlane Dr, Woodbury, MN, beginning with visitation at 11:30AM. Private interment at Fort Snelling.
