Carter Quinn Ciolkosz

Carter will be deeply missed by his mother, Kim, brother Tyler (Nikki), his nieces Aubrey, Aria, and nephew Ashton, his aunt Wendy and cousin Bryson, as well as countless family members and friends. Carter was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rudy Ciolkosz and Ethel Ciolkosz Gessner and cousin, Amber Cunningham.

At age four, Carter’s love of basketball began when attending his older brother’s games. He would race onto the court to dribble and shoot around at every time out and at halftime. He could not wait for the opportunity to play on a team himself. His athletic ability made him excel in other sports during his school years, such as football and soccer. Despite his competitive nature, he formed many lifelong friendships with his teammates and others along the way. His true love was always basketball though.

Carter’s artistic and creative nature led him to pursue a degree in graphic design at UW-Stout. After graduating he began his freelance career which highlighted his innovative designs. His work included numerous logos and graphics for others. His vision for his own brand was achieved with the creation of “CarterSauce”.

Carter’s outgoing personality allowed him to connect with people of all ages. His love for children inspired him to be a teacher, coach, and mentor. He combined his passion and knowledge of basketball to start his own personal training business. He had a unique ability to encourage and motivate others in a meaningful way. People have described him as kind, funny, enthusiastic about life, optimistic, and a beautiful soul.

A celebration of Carter’s life is being planned for Saturday, January 25, 2025, where we will come together to share memories and tell how he touched our lives in his own extraordinary way. When more details are known this website will be updated.
